Tuesday and Wednesday were a marathon trip to Southern California with para-chan to attend the funeral, interrment, and reception for her late uncle Ed. I find the thinking of financial institutions to be absolutely mind-boggling. For example, overdraft fees. Rather than refuse a check because you haven't sufficient funds in your account, the bank will clear the check, leaving you a zero balance and then charge you MORE OF WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE in the way of fees leaving you even further in the hole ( Read more... )
