Well, Hocus Pocus lived up to my expectations. YAY, not all things are ruined by getting old. Although, cat boy is not as cute as I remember. However, main boy, Max, is very cute. I am sooo a cradle snatcher. Although...not technically since when this was made I was about 8, so he's older than me. HAA HAA ( Read more... )

I never really had a crush on the cat dude, or Max. For me, it was Billie, the zombie (of course). There was always something about him that intrigued me.

And I also was so enamored by how hot Sarah was, haha.

I always wanted to be a talking cat like that, or better still, a talking mouse. I was always like, "Why can't he stay an immortal cat? Why does he have to go to heaven?! xO" Haven't seen it in some time. Good times.

I love how all the neighborhood bullies were interested in was stealing Max's shoes.

and "a-MUCK a-MUCK a-MUCK a-MUCK!"

and of course "I put a spell on you!"

What I didn't realise was what a good acting job both Max and Dani did. I mean, Thora Birch was what, 8? She was so good at being 8. Lots of eight year olds these days don't act like they are 8 in movies, which bugs me. But with these two you could totally buy them being siblings, it wasn't over the top "I love you sis" but it wasn't all angsty either.
