I love our new apartment. It's nice to have space. I am deeply in love with the diswasher and clothes washer. However, I have had a cold shower every morning. I must remember to call landlord about the hot water problem. It shouldn't run out in only 10 minutes, then come back in five. I have 3 weeks and 2 days of school left. I'm going to ( Read more... )

Ouch. I hope you feel better soon and I hope the pain meds work well.

I want a dishwasher. It appears we'll have to wait until we replace the pipes. *sobs*

My condolences on the pipes. Wil and I actually went paper the last few weeks in the old, dishwasherless apartment. We would let the dishes stack up for a week or more before one of us would force ourselves to do some washing. Our kitchen was a scary place.

I'm going to start building catapults with the students next week.

I read this as meaning "I'm going to start building catapults out of the students next week." As in an indication of how fed-up you are with the students. then my mind went off on strange tangents like "what's the tensile strength of one student?" "What's the load-capacity of one student?" "How many students must one bundle together to create a working catapult arm?"

Not a bad idea, but golf balls are the projectile of choice. Although, a few students have been doing some work on my nerves lately....

I'm sorry about your head? What happened?
You can catapult a few of my students!!! Feel free. And we are on the 3rd floor, it would be fun.
So is Six Flags a physics experiment? Like the force per ride or something? Hee hee. I've never been there. I don't remember taking fun field trips like that!

Oh my god. I am so sorry. I really didn't mean for you to hit your head on the cabinet door.

It was an accident, I'm not holding you responsible. I bump my head all the time, but it's never done this before... It's a good reason to sleep in this weekend.
