Lollapalooza 2006!
Well folks, I got back from Chicago at around 8 p.m. or so today and oh man. For the most part a wonderful trip, and the festival exceeded my expectations. I'll make a quick list of my favorite acts.

Obituary
Just a quick entry here, friends. My phone, so loved for its long-appreciated "Final Countdown" ringtone, died rather unceremoniously last night. To be fair, the bottom half of the phone still works, but the top part and screen don't. What does this mean for your weekend? Just a tiny little entry
Yesterday was Paul McCartney's 64th birthday. So listen to the Beatles' McCartney song "When I'm Sixty-Four," and make a furrowed frowny face that it didn't turn out quite as peachily.
Oh, and "!!!" is the worst band name ever and "He Poos Clouds," the worst album name.

So it's vacation time! It has been for a few weeks actually (even though I have to go to class again next week grr). I've been living alone in Tuscaloosa. It's different but I don't mind it. One of my dogs died this morning. I'm at least glad that I was able to be home this weekend to see him one last time. He had liver cancer and was no longer eating or drinking water. I think he went peacefully with many LeJeunes around him to comfort him.

So I've been toying with the idea of just making a normal, everyday, commonplace, ...commonwealth? livejournal post. Just to talk. Like Peter Griffin when he was in touch with his feminine side ("Hey Quagmire. Nothing, I'm just calling to talk. Whatcha thinkin' about?").
