Tonight I made turkey chili verde, or at least that's what the recipe called it. It was basically ground turkey simmered with three kinds of chili peppers, onions, spices, tomatillos, and chicken broth, with some white beans thrown in. Talked to my dear friend who just moved to Orlando. He says the hurricane passed them by, only drenching them with thunderstorms. I'm so glad, but I only realized today after hearing it on the news, that it's just the beginning of the hurricane season. I hope that it's a mild one for Logan's sake.
