That airplane model really must mean a lot to Kate for her to go through all that trouble to get it from the safety deposit box. And also to not tell Jack about it when telling him about the case. Just add one more mystery to the list!

The preview for next week's episode is really what has my head spinning (so much for any trust I was beginning to have in Locke). I've read some rumors about Boone and Shannon's relationship and I'm dying to know where the writers take their backstory. If what I'm reading IS true, I'm not sure how they're going to overcome the "ewwww" factor.

Well, I don't know what you're reading, but if speculation is what I think it is, then they might get around the ewwww factor if they're adopted brother and sister or... something. Anyway, I was kind of hoping for Shannon / Sayid there. There may be a lot gained in that relationship... although... nothing that might not be gained otherwise by just staying platonic map translation buddies...

BTW. my jury's still out on Locke. I can think of a bunch of reasons why he'd clobber Boone for the greater good.

Same here...and according to this show's M.O., they're only showing us that scene to misdirect us. They love that, don't they?

My big question...does it mean anything that the safety deposit box she got the AIRPLANE out of was #815...the same number as their flight?

I agree with you about Boone's attachment to Shannon seeming a bit too obsessive.

"Physics, my ass." - Best.line.ever.

(Except Hurley's "Hurley's just a name I go by. What's it mean? I'm not telling you."...which cracked me up beyond control.)

Daniel asked me to print out the lyrics to 'La Mer' so he could study them tomorrow.

They look like clues to me! Weird crazy Frenchwoman clues.

Sawyer, on the other hand, is growing even more on me. At least when he's being bad, it's all visible on the outside. ;)

I don't believe her about the man, actually. I'm with the dead marshall: "No matter what she does, no matter how she makes you feel... don't trust her."

And Charlie. *sniff* I love how Rose called him out on his self-inflicted guilt.

I've given up on trying to catch this series up; I just wanna know what was under that hatch that the guy from Millenium they found, in the ep where Dom's character... y'know... nearly killed a skillion fangirls.

a) what's under the water alongside the island (wherever that cable that Sayid found leads to away from shore); and/or
(b) why the tide is rising abnormally and what's causing the freakish weather cycles that invite ship (or sub) wrecks and airplane crashes.

Audz is sitting next to me. She says the island is being towed.
I say that it could be a communications line, like the phone/internet cables that are strung around the pacific.

1. I had heard a rumour that Jack and Kate had found 'disturbing wreckage' at a waterfall. I thought something about the bodys was slightly wrong, something was weird there ( ... )
