First radiation treatment went well. 27 to go. Also met with the oncology nutritionist. I think he found it a little disconcerting that she was telling him exactly the same things I've been telling him ever since we found out he would be going for radiation.

So, I had another attack of grace on Wednesday. My father-in-law and I were doing the weekly shop. I pulled a trolley out of the stack and was walking backwards until it came out and I was trying to turn and give it to Brad. I was using the wall as my reference point for backing. Daddy update: Second round of CT scans today, this time with padding. Changed some of the marks and advised that we are good to go. First radiation treatment on Monday morning at 10:30, and every morning thereafter M - F for 28 treatments. That's going to be the best part of six weeks. In my defense I have to remind faithful readers that we marry at 12 in the hills. I'm too young to be a great-grandmother, but I'm glad to say that I am going to be. My granddaughter is the strongest person I know, and I am so very proud of her.

So, we went today for what they said was a mask. I know they said it, because my sister Laura heard it to. It turns out that it was really for a CAT scan to mark out the precise points where they need to aim the radiation. We go back on Friday to confirm the points. Daddy is doing much better. He is well enough to not really need someone other than my mother here round the clock. That is, if my mother will stop playing like a 14 year old.
