Apparently there was much humour at my house today in my absence. We have a couple of bird feeders hanging out over the front walk to our house. Our beloved Duchess went to be with others we love who have gone to Rainbow Bridge. I gladly saw her into this world eighteen years and four months ago, and sadly held her has she departed. Faithful followers will recall that my father fell on 18 April and sustained a nasty degloving type of injury on his left forearm. Leaving from Heathrow at 11:45 to return to East Tennessee, thankfully with father-in-law in tow. Should be arriving in Knoxville at 10:55 PM.

Our precious Princess passed away quietly in my arms this morning at about 9:30 AM. She woke up with more serious neurological deficits this morning, and the working diagnosis at this point is that she had developed a lymphoma on her spinal cord.
