This weekend didn't result in much sleep, but I had so much fun visiting Gettysburg for Remembrance weekend. I was able to tour some of the shops along Baltimore Street, watch the reenactors in the parade dedicated to the lives lost during the Civil War, climb the tower on the battle field, shop at Boyds Bear, walk around 3,500 lit candles at the ( Read more... )

I think I'm 90% better from that flu bug now. Mostly just have a horrible cough that is still refusing to pack up and leave. Either way, I decided to cut down on the meds because I don't like taking that stuff for long and I've already been on them since the 31st. So I get a message today telling me to call this man back without giving me any details about what it is about. I call him back and he tells me he has to pull up my file (as if I wasn't already confused), then he tells me about how I have an unpaid balance on my Discover card. I'm guessing most of the people in the States noticed the huge area of green going over the East coast on the Weather Channel this weekend. That equaled off to a very poor time for a yard sale and a crappy Octoberfest.
