He is. I'm hoping they make some changes to his personality now that some things have been resolved for him. He could probably be a decent character if they added a few layers onto his personality.
I don't watch Lost but I love VM so I also downloaded the season premiere and have to admit I was disappointed too...it was all too contrived and as if they were forcing the story somehow...and the whole triangle in it again and Meg 'conveniently' dying was just a bit too much...I'd already read some spoilers before so I knew about V/D but still hoped that maybe it wasn't true...
I'm very glad some other shows I like to watch are still good, like Everwood or Gilmore Girls...even The OC became quite watchable again (nope, not just because of Ben :D) I heard that UPN started to force the producers to bring the VM triangle back again for ratings or whatever other stupid reason and the exec was quite upset about it...that so sucks when networks start messing in...
Anyways, let's hope it gets better again soon...it'd be a shame to ruin such a great show like VM
I try to stay away from spoilers since my Roswell days. I sometimes wish I hadn't known some of that stuff was going to happen before it aired, you know? But I also would have been hoping it wasn't true. Just like I had hoped Tess and Max were not going to hook up in S2 of Roswell. lol.
I'm not sure how I feel about Meg dying. I honestly liked her character during the first season. It doesn't seem right that her death now means most people are going to remember her as the bitchy, bitter girl in the season 2 premiere.
I'm glad your other shows are still going strong. :) And I hope the network will not push the producers to continue focusing on the triangle. That storyline has been worked to death by many other shows and I hate how a show can suddenly seem like it is only about the triangle. Veronica Mars has so much more to offer than that. *sigh*
