*hugs*

I'm sorry that all this is being dragged up again, I'm hoping by the time you get this it is all sorted and it has been a misunderstanding on the credit card company's part

No news yet but it probably is a misunderstanding since this has happened before. I refuse to worry about it any longer, at least until I know if there is something I should be worried about. :) *hugs back*

Ick! The whole situation you're in sucks. It amazes me how easy it is for someone to open up new credit cards, or steal credit cards or someone's identity. I hope you're able to get it all straight. It's hard enough to keep good credit without wondering if some nutjob is going to screw it all up for you. *hugs* Hopefully it's just a misunderstanding of some sort.

I had a credit scare last year. I was denied college loans because I supposedly had bad credit and outstanding debts. News to me of course. What ended up happening is that my social security number had gotten attached to my father's name, so all his debt was ruining MY credit. It took about a month to get it all straight.

I've had time to think about it some more, so I think everything will be sorted out somehow. I'm too stubborn to allow for anything else anyway. ;) *hugs back*

Yikes. I'm glad things were sorted out with your credit, even though it took a month to get everything straightened out. That had to have been the longest month.
