Lucas sold LucasFilm to Disney. They plan to issue new Star Wars films every three years or so.

I know! I couldn't believe it either! Lucas, who kept such a tight rein on what could and couldn't be written in the GFFA, would sell the whole thing? Like he needed the money? I'm speechless, too....

And thanks for the birthday wish! Sorry I'm so late in replying. I'm fifty now...kind of like it...I'm ready for "the hell with what anybody thinks" phase.
