I hadn't been out to Avery Island in I don't know how long. I remember one time I came to Louisiana to visit my dad and he took me to the bird sanctuary, but I didn't remember it quite the way I saw it today. Took the heard to New Orleans yesterday. No one (with the exception of Aaron and obviously myself) had been to the city that the smell of piss and vomit built. Flair bartending is just about the dumbest thing I've heard of people devoting time to. So dumb, I wish it could gain entry into the Olympic world. Then maybe...just maybe, synchronized swimming could stop being the most ridiculous "sport" ever.
