Apologies for not being around much. I have barely been online this week. And I don't think I will be tonight as I am seriously considering watching the debate at the Agelika with the Obama Dallas folks. Should be more fun that way. But it's going to take all evening and be tight getting there and back and getting a workout of sorts in.

Yes! The victim thing last night was the most irritating part. Especially when she was trying it with Korto, who is a refugee for goodness sake!

Yep, that I was so very glad that Korto called her out on her b.s. I love Korto, just in general and she absolutely pwned Kenley's ass.

I'm so freakin' mad about Jerrell and Leanne being on the chopping block despite being in the top two. Frankly, I think Kenley should have just been booted the hell off, but at least don't put Jerrell and Leanne at risk just because Heidi digs Kenley.

It's infuriating. I don't think it was all Heidi's fault, though. In fact, I thought Heidi was pretty pissed at Kenley. I think this is one of those times when that blurb about the Producers having input with the Judges may have come into play. They think Kenley's bringing the drama, so she has to be kept around. Meh. And a lot of people at TWoP are theorizing that they want to get rid of Jarrell, which makes me completly outraged.

What bugs me the most about Kenley was summed up well by Michael Kors: how will she cope with criticism from potential buyers or clients? Will she just say, "What do you know about fashion? And I was trying to make you look pretty! God!!" Also, that she is so lacking in any self awareness, playing this victim role the other night, when she's brought all of the others' disdain on herself by her really bitchy behavior and her attitude on the runway. Bleh. Hate her. Hope she doesn't make it.

Exactly! The victim bit bugs me most, but boy would I never, ever buy anyting from her. Not with that attitude. I just can't believe there's a chance she'd knock out either LeAnne or Jarrell. That's just wrong!

I was watching the debate, but I just can't anymore. Palin is being folksy and irrelevant, so, naturally, she's going to win. And I love Joe Biden, but I always have to watch him through my fingers - he makes me so nervous!

I've ended up watching some and also watching a chatroom watch it here. It's actually going well. They are keeping up with the CNN graph thing that tracks audience response/approval. Palin barely gets the line to the middle when she speaks and Biden's gotten it to the top several times.

I think that folksy crap is only going to appeal to people who were dead set on voting for her anyway. She doesn't know what she's talking about, has been unsuccessful in covering up that she can't answer most of the questions and babbling utter nonsense quite a bit. I think Joe's done a great job of making the points he needed to make, sounding qualified and not putting his foot in his mouth or "beating up on the poor widdle girl" which is what the Repug Thugs hoped would happen.

Of course, the Repugs are going to spin this as a win, just like they tried to with the last debate, but I don't think they're going to get away with it.

I watched some of those CNN focus group graphs online after the debate and felt a lot better. (I enjoyed the massive dive it took after Joe talked about his family and then Palin didn't even acknowledge it - if that didn't demonstrate that she can't think on her feet, I don't know what will). I'm really glad that people seem less disposed toward the folksy nonsense this year! Yay Joe! :)
