I'm really annoyed I couldn't go to the Meetup. But on the other hand, I finished the scarf the same day, and I'm in between projects now! Was anybody making anything interesting?

I'm glad you got the scarf finished! I STILL haven't finished the vest quite. The Meetup was cool. One of the ladies was a full-on knitter, she'd brought all these jumpers she'd been doing, and she had all different kinds of wool from like llamas and other odd animals and she told me all about how to get good deals on wool, and then next month I'm going to the Knitters Guild she put my onto! There was another girl our age and she was really nice too. She has an lj!

Well, I don't know how good you have to be but it's $35 to join, and they apparently have this great free library you can use after you've joined up. Apparently the ladies who run it have been knitting a long time. They might be traditionalist so I'm not gonna rock up there with some acrylic novelty-wool ipod cover or anything...
