I am so jealous! I have been chained to the books for the past week...I mean, six months. Hitting people in the face makes me way happier than it should. *sigh*
I'll try it today or Monday and let ya know. :-) I know there's a neck crank by faking a guillotine and then threading your arm under theirs, grabbing both hands and twisting....only works on newbies or people my size, though...don't try it on experienced meatheads :-)
As far the reason I'm not training...well, I overtrained my body and mind so much, that I had to take a layoff. I was so drained.
Keep in mind that for awhile I was training 5-7 days a week.
Then ( and not trying to use it as a crutch ), my ADHD was so bad, I couldn't pay attention to anything, let alone my training ( and I wrote the techniques in a notebook, which OF COURSE I lost).
It bummed me out and I haven't been back since.
Buuuut I've been watching Abu Dhabi tournaments and am in love with Marcelo Garcia. I can't believe how he can take someone's back like that and no one can stop him ( or has somebody? ) He's sick!
Everyone feels better with a little excercise, mind... I'm not telling you to train every day...don't get burned out... but, definetly get back into a routine of a couple/few times a week! If you're not using it your losing it!!!
Why spend all that time and effort learning a skill, if you're not going to stick with it?

Hey! How's the book work coming? It's not for forever, and then you can go back to laying the smack down :-)

I dreamt that I was rolling with an old instructor ( who I haven't talked to in forever ) on a bed at a picnic ( don't ask...I don't know either ).
I had him in my guard and tried to slap a guilotine. He blocked it but then I pull his right arm in and transitioned it into an Anaconda choke.
Is that even possible? Try it out and let me know.
Anyway, he looked proud and sad at the same time. We rolled some omre but then he got up and went to join my other friends at the picnic.
Strange...
Anyway, the amin idea of the paragraph is if I'm DREAMING about training, it's time to go back soon.
