Until life side-tracked me,I was seriously considering becoming an MP.
And I am 99% sure there are Reserve MP units as well.
*consults with prior Active-duty Army hubby* Yup, you definitely can be a Reserve MP.
But, you also might want to consider Psy ops.I know some BADASS female psyops NCOs that get to go play with SF.

It's not too late... You could still do it and then it would pay for part of your school :)

..Psy ops...that sounds pretty cool...

I just can't decide. I going to talk to the recruiter at greater length next Friday...see if I can't get a clearer idea of where I'd like to go from here.

Oh,my school is paid for by a state nursing scholarship..and I would only go in as an Air Force nurse & Officer(they let medical people join older and get away with more)even if I was still seriously considering it.
We nursing students get love letters from the various recruiters on a regular basis, but the Air Force has the highest standard of lving of all the branches.

I would lean toward Reserves ( I was, so I'm a bit biased ).

Flip a coin. Best 2 out of 5.

Have you thought about Coast Guard Alaska Search and Rescue...you don't get much more physical or competitive than that!

Coast Guard doesn't want me, visible tatoos. That was my big frustration/anger/dilema a year or two ago. I couldn't afford to finish school, I was flat broke and had no insurance and thought, "Hell...might as well join the armed forces...what else am I doing that worthwhile?"

But, no go.

I was pretty fairly pissed about it.

But, the army accepts old tatooed rejected weirdos like me :-)
