I'm thinking Goosebumps, I could kind of see this as an R.L. Stein Story, and, if I remember for all those years ago, his books weren't much longer. Haha, but no, usually about 120 pages in rather large print.
Oh Goosebumps. I used to love those books. Yeah, I actually reminded myself of an old Bruce Caville story (I think that's the guy's name). I tend to be pretty devoid of original thought when it comes to story writing it seems.
I'm not sure who Bruce Caville is but the story was actually pretty cool. I just remember all those talking dummy books, the scarecrow, the dog, the bee, I read like the first 30 of them when I was little, he was putting out like umpteen million a year. Cheesy stories.
Your story was cool, and it's goosebump feel was a nice memory to bring up. Life's too complicated nowadays, remembering the simplicity was nice.
Well actually, I am planning on coming to your little shin-dig, Mario. However, this all depends on whether or not my car wants to drive me there, so we will see.
