School is in session again, but this time it's all nursing classes so that's pretty cool. I think my social life is going to be non-existent though. I do have one major problem though. Today is Halloween and thanks to Micro Lab I am sitting in my dorm studying bacteria. Funny thing about Halloween is that it reminds me of shots and church. Shots, because for 4th grade Halloween I got strep and I really wanted to go trick-or-treating so I got the shot. My throat felt fine that night, my behind however, was a different story. Yesterday while running on the indoor track at the CPA I noticed the ergs, and for some reason I was drawn to them. I've seen people rowing worse than a novice and it just kills, so I decided to get on and show everyone how it's done. How strange is it that I actually enjoy going to class? I don't mind doing Micro questions or reading British Lit, and writing and studying for tests doesn't really get me down. After devoting the normal hour to the facebook gods and looking at everyone else's pictures I now feel like I should be having a super time at college and I'm not. I arrived at school about 3 weeks ago and it was a bit of an emotional thing to go through. I didn't think I would do it, but 4 months at home will make you miss it. I am now an official member of Chattanooga society thanks to Cotton Ball. Last night was one of the most fun and stressful nights of my life. Mom was sick, my hair wasn't working, and then Sam got us to the CTC in about 6 minutes. The presentation was a lot like May Day, but the dinner and dancing was tons o' fun. One of the things I promised myself I'd do this summer is spend more time with my friends, guess what-didn't do it. It's so frustrating, because I love money so when there's a shift open on Friday and Saturday I take it.
