I just booked our flights and hotel for Chicago! I cannot wait to go there next month.

I just want to note that today, Talk Like a Pirate Day, I saw a car in the Best Buy parking lot with two birds inside. Tomorrow I start teaching... I was assigned to a second grade classroom, and my teacher at WSU here said she is "very soft spoken" and she "never raises her voice." I suppose this is good for the student who should always get yelled at, but is this going to be a snoozer??? I am super excited though. Carl and I went up to my boss's cottage this weekend in Lexington with our friends Kevin and Lisa and their daughter Madisen. We went up Friday, had a barbeque, and went down to the water.
