one more thing before i end my journaling session for the night, i finally spoke with my mother yesterday, honestly and openly. the words that i thought every night as a child that i could never seem to say to her face, they finally surfaced. all the countless journal entries where i'd pour my heart out, only to be heard by simple pen and paper,
