Oh, such simple beauty :D I love this kind of attention to things - like wrapping each piece of sugar in a twist of white paper. I'm not so fond of overly glittery bright commercial packaging in layers though ;)

I hope you can enjoy your trip despite feeling a bit lonely. Maybe you can savour the loneliness, since that seems to be what this trip is offering you...

Isn't Japan fabulous when wrapping even the little lumps of sugar? I love their kind attention to details. And these are tastefully in white but there are lots of other wrappers too, quite bright and glittery :P

I am enjoying Japan, I'm using my little bycicle (it looks a bit like a toy bycicle on adult scale) in the small streets of Michuku. There's something interesting about traveling alone, I can see much more than when talking to a friend.

I love to hear/read about places I've never been to, especially when they are illustrated with photos or drawings. I like when somebody tells what she/he saw and liked or disliked and why. :)))

Japan I know only from Murakami's books, which I absolutely adore.
