Starting year #45 (year #3 past rebirth)
Today is E's 45th birthday. We celebrated with a nice homemade brunch (croissant sandwiches of homemade jam, bacon, and over-easy eggs- try it, seriously, it's awesome) and a dinner out with Ethan's parents at Joseph's Grill with Dave's awesome birthday cake** afterward at their house.

I began the seasonal process of breaking down the garden today. Breaking down the garden is a simple acknowledgment that it's fall, and the garden is past its prime; we're capturing the final glories for later enjoyment.
