We had a bad rainstorm the other day and we lost electricity. No electricity means no hot water...ugh...but at least we can flush the toilet, hehe. We lucked out and got power back within 24 hours, so we didn't suffer to bad. This past week was so tiring, bust also very rewarding. I am now half way through my trip. This is my last Friday in Nyeri. Next Friday I will be in Nairobi flying to Mombasa and the following Friday I will be in VEGAS! We took the day off because we are getting worn out and we will be at the school tomorrow. The children's parents are coming to visit them at the school. they are all very excited. I am 15 hours from home and 10 hours from Kenya...and I am a walking zombie. I only slept a total of 2 hours on the 8 hour flight to London and now I am enduring a horrible lay over. I have been home for over a week now. I am starting to adjust back to life. It is really hard...much harder than I thought. I am a lot more emotional about my experience now than I was while going through it. I feel like I didn't give enough...but really in that situation you can never give enough.
