Today we had my dad's surprise 50th birthday party. Actually he knew that everyone was coming because he wanted to do something "special" while I was in town so he asked Beverly to plan a party. Today I went to the Athletic Club and layed out for several hours. I worked out for about 30 minutes, and I'm about to make dinner. (chili dogs, potato salad, and cheese dip). Yesterday was my 19th birthday. I feel so old and here's why. I woke up when my mom brought the dogs to my bed and she told me happy birhtday, etc. I got up and started to clean my room. Today is Saturday and the weather is gorgeous!!! I just got home, yes it is 10:00 in the morning and I am awake. Last night I spent the night at Drew's neighbor's house that she was dog sitting for...Rebel decided it would be okay to sleep on top of me all night long. I regret to say that I have not kept up with my journal...needless to say finals are over, and I'm finally home for summer!!! Freshmen year is over. Leaving Reid Hall was bittersweet...I was overcome with saddness the last week of school. I had no desire to leave, I loved Reid- all the girls living together was so much fun. Today I have decided to change things in my life...for example I'm going to start listening to country music all the time...because I feel silly listening to rap as a white girl (and other things). I'm going back to my white folk roots. I'm at the Kappa Sig house right now...I'm sad that I am not going to see Zaff in Austin next week! Night Night.
