So I got a letter back from Gilbert basically telling me not to waist my time with them. Fuck 'em then. I'm already working on Phoenix anyway.

Anyway, I'm scheduled for an interview with the Gilbert PD on Thursday! YAY!! I'm obviously stoked, and can't wait to see how it goes. If I do well, there's still a long way to go. But I'm hopeful!

So, I've spent the last few weeks applying to the Gilbert Police department. Well, I got a letter yesterday informing me that I've passed the interview board I had on Monday! That means I'm now in the hiring pool. It's not quite a job guarantee, but it's close. Now it's just a waiting game until they get down the list to me for a background ( Read more... )

Going camping tomorrow with my favorite girl! And a bunch of good friends. Happy dance! And exercising is going well. I may just make it through the tests next Saturday.

Eee Gods. I just finished filling out the Arizona POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) Board application. OMG, does that thing suck! 10 freaking pages.
