My future

My cousins are getting ready to go to college and I'm heading into another year of college. I'm only getting older. I am so nervous because I still am not sure what I want to do yet and my family is starting to ask more and more. It puts pressure on me because it's true that I want to go into the medical field and everyone expects me to be a doctor

Don't be freaked out or anything but I read your rather depressing post in the friends column for the liquid eros group. So trying to help a fellow member I decided why not attempt to cheer you up? So I kinda had a similar issue as you, but instead of going straight to university (We call it uni here in canada, but I think it's called college in the states? LOL I am just guessing you're from the U.S.) after high school, I decided to go to take another year of post-secondary school to decide what I wanted to be and not rush into things

Well, I use the terms college and university interchangeably; we have both in the US. I go to a university. Thanks a lot for cheering me up, giving me some advice, and sharing your experience! I really appreciate it. I've been afraid to talk about it to my dad, but I will give it a try. The computer/internet is the biggest distraction and I found out that having a friend there with you while studying also keeps you on task, even when your friend isn't studying the same thing (it might even be better because you don't have to talk as much). I guess when we start having to deal with our future careers, it gets a lot more stressful. I'm going to have to do more research. I hope things work out well for the both of us! :)
