hey in other news, i've been renting nothern exposure, and i saw that you were listening to it as you posted!! i just finished the first season, so obviously i have a long way to go.

what was the quote that you supplied for the book?

The quote is from a column I wrote about The Cheerleader (also by MacDougall) and it's in the review pages at the beginning of the book.
It's not like I was an expert on anything or she was quoting some deep philosophical thought I had, I just said some nice words about a book I liked and she happened to want to use them.

Also Northern exposure is great, we're on the first disc of the second season, so we do too.

it was in a column I wrote about the book that a reader of mine sent to her. We had a short correspondence after she read the column and she asked to use a quote from it.
