if you like chico NPR you will LOVE public radio if you move to portland, courtesy of oregon public broadcasting.

opb has a much more extensive schedule. i looked at the schedules online to compare it to northstate public radio.

in addition to NPR's mainstays of this american life, prairie home companion, fresh air, and talk of the nation, opb has:

three more hours of morning edition
two more hours of bbc world service
here and now
world have your say
day to day
the world
marketplace
oregon considered
philosophy talk
what do you know?
wait wait don't tell me

and more!!

basically while NPR is having classical music or jazz OPB has talk radio, usually really good stuff
