I don't want to do these. I REALLY don't want to do these. Lol. I'm so lazy. Writing tutorials are hard. But alas, I have to get them out of the way. So, I'm doing them.

I'm going to try these, they look great. I just have a silly question, though - if you didn't make your bases so dark & just used less screen layers &/or played with the opacity of the screen layers, wouldn't you get the same results? It just seems to me that you're creating a lot of work for youself. I mean, it's working for ya - your icons look great - I was just wondering. :o)

I don't know. It's just something I do. I've sorta gotten used to it. I can't really work any other way.

If I used less screen layers, I wouldn't know where to put my colors. I work by adding different colors on softlight and overlay between seperate screen layers a lot. If I only had one or two screen layers, I wouldn't know what to do with myself! Lol.

I get what you're saying though. I'm just kinda weird that way. We all have our things I guess.

Thanks! Have a nice one. :)

Saving to mems, and am working on number 1 as I type. My pic's a little more contrasting, so I'm going to have to do something different for the fill and curves. But otherwise, it's working great. Good tutorial. :)
