[Unfortunately for Enkidu, having two minds battling a take over in his head has not only become stressful and horrifying for him, but adding explosions to the mix does not help at all either.

As soon as the fireworks display had begun, he had huddled himself into a ball against a building and stared wide eyed at the bright lights above with the massive explosive sounds echoing in his ears. Which really? Only made the madness in his mind even worse.

If anything, he is like a frightened animal right now. Hearing things no human should, knowing things no one normal is allowed to and most of all, confused on who he really is.]

Make... make it stop...

[Little Squid is mostly entranced by the lights, but eventually she catches sight of Enkidu out of the corner of her eye. She always liked playing over at his house, so she runs over to see what's going on.]

Mr. Shamhat! What's wrong?

[Enkidu instantly covers his ears and shuts his eyes tight as soon as the next firework explosion sets off and hearing someone calling him.

Wait, which him? Is it the Mayfield him or the real him? But what if the Mayfield him IS the real him-- He shakes his head violently and grits his teeth to try and shut away everything from him.]

Stay back... stay away! Don't come any closer!
