[Gat comes jogging out of the house, and stands on his side of the street to assess what's going on ... and then runs across the street once traffic's clear.]

What I'm sayin' is, if somethin' like a power surge destroyed th' TV, it could've been enough to damage other electronics on th' same circuit.

[3-D TVs ... Gat doesn't comment on that, but he looks intrigued. That sounds more like technology he ought to be familiar with, like visionphones and the like. It also sounds like this girl's pretty far in the future from whenever Mayfield's supposed to be.]
