The city of Cambridge is so thoughtful. To celebrate my moving-in, they decided to close down the most nearby block of Massachusetts Avenue to throw me a gigantic dance party. I could never have expected such a warm welcome. It's a great place to be.

So, on my way back from work today, I got caught in a rainstorm and got to use my umbrella. Bad part? The storm knocked out the power to my apartment, and I had left my bedroom windows open. My bed and pillows were completely soaked.

The Umbrella of Irony strikes again.

I bought an umbrella on Friday. I figured it would be a good thing to have for when I walk from my apartment to the T and from the T to work.
