I'm really enjoying this story, but I'm starting to become a bit confused.

I know this is a Brian/Justin story, but in the emotional aspect, is it a Justin/Cam story? Because physcially it's B/J, but emotionally it's becoming more and more J/C.

I guess I'm confused in how to perceive things.

Haven't you ever had one of those relationships were you connect with someone on every level except sexually? You're as close as humanly possible but there's always one thing missing because there isn't that physical attraction, it works anyway but will never be complete because it's missing an extremely important component. That's the relationship between Justin and Cam. Cam is safe, he's asexual, he's as close as someone can get to Justin without being that one relationship that will will have everything. This is a Justin/Brian story but in this world Cam is essential too but he's not a threat so don't worry about Cam. He's just a nice bonus in the story.

Anonymous's post below pretty much sums it up:) But i'll add a little bit to it...it's definitely a J/B fic both emotionally and physically, there's no way it'll ever be J/C or J/B/C. Cam is just a very good friend and that friendship is allowing me to lure out Brian's caring side.

As much as I love writing Cam, he is basically a tool for me to move Justin and Brian along. By showing how connected Justin and Cam are emotionally, and how they got that way, gives me the leverage to do things like, drag Brian's butt back from Babylon and to the hospital, without it being totally OOC for Brian--or i hope it does lol!

To move J/B forward, for me, means showing past friendships/relationships and as Brian basically has that covered on the show i'm concentrating on Justin and his friendships.

I hope my rambling hasn't confused you more lol! to sum it up i guess Justin and Cam's (emotional) relationship is paving the way for Justin and Brian or something like that...my head hurts!
