George R.R. Martin will be signing in Slovenia in June! o.O No one ever comes here to sign books, at least not authors whose books I love or at least find fascinating. I feel like I really should go, since it will be in Ljubljana and everything. But I can't even find which bookstore he'll be signing at and at what time etc. Just that it will be on ( Read more... )

Had a 'visit' from Dedek Mraz (socialist version of father christmas that remained with us since it was what S. and I grew up with. Got presents. :) Send out New Year cards (just extended family and very late... but better late than never?) Today we saw lots of silly and some brilliant modern art, some awesome technology & design at the BMW museum ( s.'s pick, obviously, but I enjoyed most of it actually, except the motors *yawn*), had some nice thai for lunch, got lost finding a concert hall, but found it eventually and went to a concert I've wanted to go to for a long time.
