I love to paint, and there are times when I am more inspiried than usual and I want to paint all of the time. I have no desire to do anything else, not even eat sleep, or even shower.

Break downs are fun. You do crazy things you otherwise wouldn't do. Then you can look back at it and say "Yeah. That was fucked up." Enjoy the breakdown. Things always get better.
