My brother made a tribute video to Ewert's Pets, which my family owned and operated for over 40 years. It's beautiful, and loaded with memories for us. I know the names of all the animals in this video. Sigh. I will never forget the store.

Birthday of Roma, or the Natalis Urbis
Well I had a nice little night. I did a small ritual, nothing big and grand. I wanted to use a red altarcloth, since red is pretty much the essential Roman color. Animal Show
I had a great morning. Me, my boyfriend, my brother and a friend did an animal show at the local UU church for the kids, since Earth Day is Wednesday. It went fantastically! All together we had 2 chinchillas, a angora (long-haired) guinea pig, a leopard gecko, a 8-ft Colombian Red-Tailed Boa, and a smaller Peruvian Red-Tailed Boa. It was so much ( Read more... ) -
