Every day on my way to the office, I pass that big billboard near the state line that announces the current Mega Millions jackpot (if I look in my rear view mirror as I pass it, I can see the Powerball jackpot on the opposite side of the board). Not infrequently, I spend a good portion of the rest of my journey down the tollway thinking about that ( Read more... )

Still want to buy and renovate the Rhode Opera House and the Kenosha Theatre and turn them into touring company houses. I probably wouldn't turn a profit for five or ten years, but I could afford the wait.

Although with peak oil starting to play havoc on the economy, I begin to wonder if I'd ever see a profit. *sighs*

I think the first thing I'd do is buy a clump of land somewhere and build a house for your and I, and another for my parents. I'd make sure that the land includes room for my mom to grow organic vegetables so she get her farm business going.

Those are my two big dreams.

I want in on the mini golf plan.

I'd pay off all my school loans and other smaller debts, buy a farm house, make it green, and live happily with my books, cats, chickens, goats, and trees.

I would pay Madonna a million dollars to sit on my face.

She should pay me, though.

All semi-joking aside, I've always wanted my own bumper car set.

First and foremost pay of every bloody thing we (me, D, my mom and his mom) owe.

Buy some land near where we are now and start a horse breeding ranch, including boarding and lessons. Go back to school long enough to get my animal husbandry cert so I can legally breed without a vet present at all times. Buy some Fresian mares and a couple stallions and let them do thier stuff.

Oh, and have ALL my friends and sweeties over for LOTS of parties!

I would buy a chunk of Wisconsin and put many small houses up (bedroom, living room, bathroom, small kitchen) and a big centralized cook-shanty. Then rent them at cost to good friends. I envision recycled-rubber pathways, wind-electricity and solar heating. Not to mention a pool, hottub, and other things as I think of them.

...cook-shanty...

Thanks. Now I'm thinking of Paul Bunyan's at the Dells.
