A glimpse into Russian life:

Yesterday I was sitting in a park waiting for my friends, and a passing woman stopped to tell me that I shouldn't sit with my legs crossed because it would prevent me from being able to have children.

So I'm setting up a different blog for my Russia trip:

I have just finished watching the movie Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears. Quite good. At the moment I am practicing being optimistic. We'll see how long that lasts : P Well shit, failing already... heh.

it's been a long and surreal day.

I am DONE. And summer is off to a good start.

only two finals and three papers left....

This has been a very long week. Last night was the longest. Hrysoula has mono and last night her throat was so swollen that she was afraid of not being able to breathe, and after a couple of unhelpful phonecalls to the doctor, they said we should probably take her to the ER. i cannot get things done worth shit right now. two presentations, three papers, and three finals in the next two weeks, here i come...

Things to do this summer (too bad I still have five more weeks of school):

-Knit lots of warm things to wear in Moscow
-Read Anna Karenina
-Play guitar a lot

I am absolutely exhausted at the moment. Davis Day was pretty awesome though. Now I should probably think about the homework that I haven't done any of yet...but I would much rather go take a nap out in the sun.
