Hubris is a terrible disease. It gets in the way of relationships, forces people to do things they don't really want to do, and is used to justify mistakes. I hope that, if you're arrogant enough to be so prideful, you're happy with the decisions you make in life.

I just found out yesterday that someone I knew during my first years of college through the theater department, Andy Hoover, passed away this past week. He was in a car crash coming back from Los Angeles, and the driver, Jenna Faeth, died immediately. He was in the hospital for a couple of days but was pronounced brain dead on Wednesday. Apparently San Francisco's Japantown is being sold because of a lack of profits.

I am now officially depressed =(
