I just finished the 6th harry potter book, they are very good. JKR has a very grat knack for using emotion in her books.

i'd rather sirius come back than dumbledore. although it would make my day if they both did, but i think it is more plausible for sirius.

Annie deffinately put forth a lot of those theories. The only reason I don't think Harry is a horcrux is because then voldermort's soul would be in Harry which doesn't make that much sense. That means that if they killed voldermort's body Harry would become voldermort. I mean I think it's quite possible that they end up doing that, but I think it seems like a dumb idea because I can't buy the fact that Voldemort's soul is in Harry. Plus, if Harry was one of Voldemort's horcruxes, why does he keep trying to kill him? It doesn't make that much sense to me, and if that's what she does, it's too much for me to handle. I did come up with this theory though that maybe somehow Lily used her own death to split Harry's soul so that Harry would live. I think maybe he is a horcrux, just maybe not Volemort's.

Everyone seems to think that he is and I have been trying to explain to them how wrong that idea is. Harry would have some serious mood swings and split personality moments if that was true. And anyway, Dumbledore already listed off what he thinks all of them were. He said that V was trying to use Harry's death to make his last horcrux and he failed. But I hadn't thought of your reason, it's the one that just puts a rest to that theory. Good job. :)

I don't think that Harry could have a horcrux because he would have symptoms of having a split soul. And even if it was possible for Lily to make a horcrux for Harry, I don't think that she would have been okay with the killing someone part of that spell.

how do we know for sure that he WAS trying to kill him? everyone says he was, but maybe JKR is just using distractions to throw us off, I dunno, I don't write the books, so it really doesn't matter. lol

Maybe you're right, maybe he's not, but it certainly has looked like it. On top of that, I just can't deal with the idea that Harry is possessed by Voldemort. It doesn't make sense to me.
