Jeremy and I put in a bid on a house and after a couple of counters, they accepted. So now all that stands in the way of us buying our first house is the bank appraisal and our inspector. I found out tonight that a friend of mine died last week. He and I weren't very close. We hadn't talked in years, but it hit me particularly hard because I've never had a friend die before.
