I'm mad at an archetype, not an individual (see my edited post). It's hard to see good folks get chewed up and not be able to do anything about it.

It is really very annoying indeed. Today, I unsusbscribed from SCA_Snark because I was tired of reading people's rantings in that regard. People are trying to do what they can. And life is too short to waste it in negativeness.
