So I had a pretty mellow weekend. Ryan was down for a couple of days, and I just saw him off on the Greyhound bus back home to Peterborough. Sigh. Lordy, I miss him when he's not here. Nice.

In HS, during the last performance of the school musical (Brigadoon!) one year, one of the actors was going through the public "thank-yous" to the director, pit orchestra conductor, etc. He meant to say, "Thank you to Mrs. Blah, our rehearsal pianist." Yep, he definitely belted out the word "penis" in front of a crowded auditorium. It was pretty funny :)

hehe...which is exactly the reason i PLEAD for people to put the accent on the second syllable when announcing us piAnists

Hahaha, I don't even try! I just say, "Oh, I play piano," or "I'm a piano-player." Sure, it sounds less sophisticated, but better than such a faux pas, right?

Funny, my little sister had one of those green tea frappuccino things last week and I actually thought it was decent. Odd...but...good. Just like us? ha!

I will be glad to do your LJ drum rolling! Still getting used to it and all....but I will come through!

Sheesh...jobs. I know the feeling. But sending you good luck vibes about the lab position no matter what!

Fingers crossed!

And I so am going to call in "meh" to my job someday. I sort of did yesterday, but without the call or the "meh" part. It was more of a "I'm going home for lunch," deal, and I sort of forgot to show back up at work in the afternoon. Forgot it to the point of going to the beach with my friend, even. Good thing I don't have to, y'know, actually CALL when I'm not around. Heh.

I will definitely miss it when I graduate. But maybe having a paycheck that will enable me to SURVIVE will compensate for that. *grumble*UNHpaychecks*grumble*
