a couple weeks ago I saw this thing at cnn.com that bush was at the same approval rating as nixon at the same point during their second terms, down to the week. Keep in mind, this is while watergate was going on.
He's still at a rating that can bounce back rather easily. Be careful. And never downplay the irony that it took one major disaster to shoot his approval rating up, and another to bring it back down.
It's his second term, so it doesn't matter anyway. All we can do is wait for Jeb to get in.
(I had a nutty conspiracy theorist drunkenly try to explain why Neil Bush can run successfully too. I found this very funny.)
I don't have to be careful, because even if I'm all reckless and announcing that he'll go down as the worst president ever, it doesn't make any difference.
It does matter. It's a sign that not as many people are just blindly believing in what they're president is doing. People are questioning their leader, and that is a great thing. Don't be so negative and cynical. And never, ever foresee Jeb becoming president. Not on my Livejournal.
Firstly, you're relying far too heavily on polls. They don't represent enough. Also, where did this poll come from? A liberal think tank? A conservative one? Gallop? The source is always important. So it doesn't really matter that much.
And Jeb's at least in the running. Who do the democrats have? An inspirational African American who isn't ready yet and Joe Biden.
It was an AP-Ipsos poll. I don't know about you, but I trust the Associated Press.
Stop being a fucking wet blanket, Kenny. Allow me to have some hope for this Nation. If you want to stay cynical and swallow the dick that is the Republican party, go ahead. Just don't talk to me about it. I still have some faith in Democrats.
Don't respond to this, I'm quite sick of your belittleing.
