i think if you were a photographer, i could try to respect your photoshop arguement.

Consider this: die-hard film buffs use slide film, which as most know, gives you completely oversaturated and un-natural looking colours. So You're arguement leads me to believe that youre saying the only way to truly capture something is in black and white... which with its high-contrast artsy look is just as overly used and overly-dramatic as vivid colour.

If i've really noticed anything in all my years of photography, it's that most purists aren't really all that pure at all.

I could write pages about why your opinion isn't valid. But i'll merely adress that anyone who didn't enjpy the movie capote doesn't really belong in a movie theatre.
