We come to it at last...the extended edition.

Due to my being in the middle of moving from one house to another, I haven't been able to sit down and watch the whole ROTK: EE yet. But naturally I pushed aside the cardboard boxes and spent some time last night skipping around on the DVD's and watching a few scenes and a few extras here and there ( Read more... )

lord of the rings, perviness

I also have to admit that the Eomer moment where he finds Eowyn was the bit I looked forward to most of all. Shame also that we couldn't get a few more moments of Eowyn/Faramir in the Healing House.. Still.. loved all the extra bits. Very much. :-)

Last weekend's 12 hour marathon with the hubby and housemate was very much worth it even though the weekend went insanely fast!

Yeah, I had hoped to get some confirmation that Eowyn and Faramir ended up, you know, getting married. But hey--the interaction was still nice. :)

i couldn't believe how absolutely fantastic eomer was there, i was very touched as well.
i loved "the captain and the white lady"- you can just see such care in faramir's face, such love. it was soo great!

i've watched the movie twice and today is dedicated to the special features, i can't wait!!!

I cried when I saw Eomer find Eowyn on the battlefield. I agree that should have been in the theatrical version.

I'm wondering who are the five members of the Fellowship Billy has snogged. We saw him snog Viggo, and Sean Astin said Billy's kissed him. I wonder who the other three are!

Ahahah, I forgot to mention the snogging thing. I better make an edit for that. Yes, I wonder too who the rest were!

I'd bet money one of them was NOT John Rhys-Davies. That would be just asking for a black eye, IMO.

Did you see the part where Aragorn drops Arwen's necklace and it shatters on the floor? He thought she was dead, right? I got really confused at that part. Can anybody explain that for me?

They had some extra badass fighting scenes.

Oh lordy, and the scene where the witch king makes Gandalf's staff explode..that was amazing. I was wondering why Gandalf grabbed a soldier's weapon when he goes to save Faramir from his father. I was like, "why isn't he using his staff" and now I know. I think that part should have stayed in.

Go to http://www.scorchcake.com (please excuse the pop-ups) and click on "icons."

Feel free to take the Hogwarts one as well!
