I'd have to say my favorite misspelling of a word is using "defiantly" when it's meant to be "definitely". It gives so many options.

Sometimes I wish I grew up in the 1970s, so when I had flashbacks to my youth, I would have Jackson 5 singing ABC in my head. And, if a movie was made of my life, I could play that one. It seems like the perfect elementary school kid song.

It makes me very angry when I see signs that use the letter 'K' in place of the letter 'C'.
For example:
"Kountry Korner" - there's no freaking K in either word. STOP IT.
"Kaution: Kids and Kows Grazing" - Yeah, I don't need to say anything more.

Well, friends - it's been an odd summer indeed. I can't say that it was a bad one, because it wasn't. I had an intoxicating birthday and birthday party. It's official - I am moving back to Hastings for the summer/whenever I find a job. For those in EL, I will visit, so please keep inviting me/calling me about fun things. In the afterlife, I hope there is I room I can go to to see all the photos ever taken that I happened to be in. Particularly the ones you walk through and at the last second look at the camera thinking, "oh shit, I just ruined a picture." Also, the ones where I'm just being myself, and a photo is taken in my presence.

I've always been a school person. Everyone my age has been attending some form of school for 17 or 18 years, pretty much straight throughout. But even before I went to preschool at 4, I was in the pretend school of my home, with my teacher parents as my teachers of, for lack of a less cheesy idea, life.
