Psych hospital

Hubby and I just got home from having DQ hospitalized.  She was making suicidal statements at school....she has had a very rough week of other girls threatening to beat her up....and was sent to the Principal's office for telling one of the girls to either shut up or do it,...the school said that was a threat

I'm cursing so loud I can't reply coherently. GAH! I wish I was there to help you - and to confront the principal who thinks the victim is the one to blame. I bet none of the bullies got suspended for threats. ::scowl:: I suggest going over his head to the school board (and maybe the media). Make them change her school, or better yet, make them move the bullies.

Please let her know that it gets better. I got bullied all through school, and I survived. She can, too. She's not alone.

I have all of you in my prayers. May her spirit be comforted, and her heart be strengthened.

I am soo glad she actually said something to someone...her plan was to come home and take all her meds. I would have still be at work and Ernie would have been teaching Chess....
I will tell her...and I am very angry!! I work with one of the vP's at the school and will be calling him on Monday! and calling the head of special ed that I have a good working relationship with and seeing what we can do.
