teen admitted to the behavioral health center .....major depression...has been fighting with me since last night to take her home..nope not until the DR says she can go

Son had 3 parades..it was quite hot and muggy to start the day...during the ceremony after the first and shortest parade, 3 boys passed out from the heat. I am so glad I was not there to see it or I might have pulled son out the next 2 parades....He told me that he did color guard instead of drumming, he carried the State Flag...he said it was much ( Read more... )

So, about 10 days ago, she had some forceful vomitting and broke capalllaries in her face...Hubby took her to the ER.  She admitted that when she eats, she vomits, had not been having regular BM's for weeks, ....conculsion, when she eats, it has no where to go but back up.

had the most wonderful surprise 50th birthday party....siblings flew in from Omaha, Phoenix, drove in from MA, cousins came from far...inlaws came, SHE came with grandson and that family....
great day yesterday...still basking in it....ahhh.....

lately there have been 3 high schoolers in the county who have commited suicide.  Last night Teen recieved 3 texts from a high school friend who is a senior in high school...and she was making suicidal statements.  Teen and I were at my job, and about 30 minutes away, Teen did not have an address but we had her cell #, town she lived, and her name ( Read more... )

Christmas is over.. SHE called and asked to speak to Hubby on Christmas morn, so I handed the phone over to him....and he didn't really say anything to her  just gently said she should have talked longer to me , Mom pretty much told her the same thing and that she should aplogize to me.

so during prayer meeting last week, the  families I work with were referred to families with children with special needs.  What is the first thing that usually comes to mind? Not kids with Mental Illnesses. that irritates me ( Read more... )
